I`m assuming you removed the dark slide from behind the lens?On all 3 of
the Rapids that I currently own, as well as others I have owned in the
past, there is a very slight movement(maybe half a mm, or about .020
inch) when you wiggle the back.This is what I would call "play", but not
"slop". I believe this is normal for all Rapids, and should in no way
affect the shutter release.The linkage that connects the release to the
lens may need a little adjusting.
