RE: Answedr to some Beginner's questions

Hi Yuri,

I wear glasses and have no problems in using the rangefinder on the Koni
even in very poor light conditions. I have not yet used it in bright
light conditions which can be a problem for rangefinders.

It did not take me long at all to become familiar with the cameras
peculiar method of operation and as long as you position your eye
correctly behind the viewfinder the yellow square will be clearly
visible and very easy to line up for focusing. The perimeter lines are
very accurate and are controlled by the focus such that parallax is
corrected. With practice and careful use you should not ever need to
crop later (unless you mix your lens/frame line as I have done before).

Hope this helps:-)

a tight head and shoulders shot unless you crop the negative.

Happy New Year, Peter and all subscribers !

thank you for the reply.

How about koni's viewfinder ? Is it big and bright ? Does parallax
correction
work well for you ? Can you compose very precisely with it ? I'm asking
you
because I'm a kind of person who doesn't like to crop images after
shooting.
I always liked to make good framing in viewfinder.

As of filters. It's very nice. I have a bunch of B+W 55mm filters.
So I can use them on 58 and 90 lenses with step-rings.

Yuri
