Yes and no. Even though the 180mm is 12 feet, you have a longer focal
length so the area of coverage on the film is about the same.
And that very nice 135mm lens was mine. Sold it last week. :-(

I love my RO, but I already have all four very nice lenses. Took some
bride and groom portraits last week - came out great.

I guess we'll have to admit, though, that this stuff will be given away
before long. Nikon and Canon have both announced they're going to stop
film camera production, for the most part, and film will be increasingly
hard to get, I suppose. It'll probably be available as long as I want
to shoot, though.

I also must admit that the 180 is the least-used lens, and the 135 the
most used. I have been dismayed to see 135 lenses going for so little
on auctions, but that's the way it's going to be, I guess. I'm probably
not going to sell mine, anyway. I'll just let my kids wonder what it
is.

Best Regards,
Barry

I see them on eBay all the time. No one wants them, since they won't
focus closer than 12 feet. For my purposes, at least, it would be a
totally useless lens, unless I had a spacer--and then I would have to
focus on ground glass. Even a very nice 135 just went for only a little
over $300--I expected the winning bid would be a lot higher than that.
